Well I don't post here much but recent events forced me to put in my three cents (because two are just not enough). In the wake of The Oregon shooting at Clackamas Town Center (in which a member of my family was detained in their place of business due to working a few blocks from this location), and the tragic school shooting where one man (read coward) was able to murder 5 and 7 year old children at school (good to mention here they had a problem with this person the day before at Sandy Hoke Elementary. They did have some warning school officials didn't heed.). The communists in our government not allowing any good tragedy to go to waste see this as their opportunity to cease control of the countries guns and take away your right to have one. Oh I know they say they only want to take away semi automatic assault rifles. They will tell you, "were not going after the hunter or the honest american wanting to protect their home." Or any number of BS slogans such as that. Truth? They just want to start the gun grabbing locomotive that will eventually stop only when they have disarmed everyone of every gun. See ladies and gents enslaving an armed country wouldn't be easy (actually it would be down right next to impossible). You would have years and years of guerilla warfare, and that would just take way too long. Nope slowly getting rid of all the guns is the best bet. No better place to start than with the ones that can actually protect us. After all, contrary to popular propaganda the second amendment is to protect us against a tyrannical government first, it wasn't written for the outdoor sportsman. See this is just part of the hegelian dialectic. Problem, reaction, and in this case a preconceived solution (preconceived in all they were waiting for was a tragedy by which to implement what they had already planned).


I would also like to say I am not being insensitive to the people directly impacted by these tragic events or their families. These individuals and families were traumatized, murdered, and many will have severe physical and emotional scars the rest of their life. I personally know people who were at the Oregon mall shooting. However, pushing through legislation that is not designed to protect the american people, and will ultimately lead to more deaths of innocent people (such is always the case when you disarm a population. Law abiding citizens will obey laws and criminals will not. Ultimately, any government that disarms it's population will eventually murder that very population. Some history lessons concerning our second amendment are needed here.

Probably not what most would consider historic so to speak. At first I figured it had to do with the fact that what one believes should improve their life, or help them grow. Being a christian I figured it was a quote that came from a smart native american fellow who got tired of people trying to convert him. According to the blog, " Sun Bear created what he called a modern tribe, the Bear Tribe, with both Indians and non-Indians who were interested in self-reliance and living in a traditional tribal society." Sun Bear even had a magazine at one time. I had never heard of him, and know very little about him except what this blog has told me. I left a comment on Mr. Nyerges blog because I was impressed with the comment. Mr. Nyerges responded by saying, yes, and Sun Bear was not being "anti-Christian." Lots of people purport to follow all sorts of preachers and saviors in many religions. What I got from Sun Bear was that we should LIVE what we believe, and "by their fruits ye shall know them," rather than, "you might sorta get what they're all about if you just listen long enough." His comment is a practical way to evaluate followers of any religion, political persuasion, school of thought, philosophy, etc."

Mr. Nyerges response hit me as odd to begin with (mostly because I think he misread the intent of my initial post). However, it did show a certain wisdom many don't follow today. So many of us are willing to be led and jump right into something without really thinking about it. I've been guilty in the past, as I'm sure most could say the same if they are being honest with themselves. Do we stand up for what we believe in? Do we do the things we tell others they should do? Mainly, are you growing? What kind of fruit are you producing? There have been a lot of positive quotes on this blog, and a lot of politically negative ones. My intention has been to get others to see that things are not always what they appear. I have been scared, angry, upset, and concerned for those around me while writing some of these. In others I have felt compassion, love toward others, empathy. I'm a man who wants to do good by others (which is why I became a nurse), and I find mallicious behavior distasteful. It is for those reasons that I initially started this blog.

Today, I find myself a different person than I was when I started this blog. I had a lot of fear, and now I know that it won't do me any good. Of course when your eyes get opened to how bad the corruption in this world for the first time (like mine were starting 5 years ago) it tends to impact you. At first I thought we could still change course as a nation. We still can but our collective apathy makes that highly unlikely. Now, I'm really more concerned with getting out the good news (God, and Jesus Christ). Something I have unfortunately been distracted from.

I may from time to time post here. But for the most part this is it. I still believe we as a nation have very trying times ahead. My advice (for whatever it's worth) would be to get to know those around you (neighbors, church friends, exc), and have a simple and doable plan for basic disaster planning. Do some research and do what is sane (not lock yourself away in a log cabin living as a hermit with 10 years of food on hand). If this country is really going to go down the tubes I can't see more than a year doing anyone much good. I will have less than that. After all there comes a point where preparing stops being preparation and starts to become panic and fear. That is no way to live (trust me on that). I firmly believe that no matter how good a plan you may have it will eventually fail (meaing something will come up that will throw you off your plan) if there is a prolonged incident. At some point if something really does go south you will need a relationship with God. I'm not going to tell you what to believe. I'll just say from my experience as a nurse those who have God fare much better in a health crisis than those who don't. I bid any who might come across this blog well. Be kind to one another, forgiving one another. If you have fear concerning the state of affairs in this world, lose it. I've learned through experience the fear will do you no good. Fear only leads to hatred, resentment and becoming stagnant when you might need to get moving. As another quote stated, "Harboring bitterness and resentment is like shooting yourself in the leg in order to hit your offender with the recoil."

In closing, to the one or two who have read this thank you. You have watched me learn to deal with this world with my eyes open. May God bless all of you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. But now it is time for me to put far more effort into my relationship with God and my family.

Well, I don't know about you but knowing the Obama administration can "advance security without having a deleterious impact on individual rights in MOST instances" makes me sleep more soundly at night. Hey, I wonder what those instances will be? I mean they did say, "At the same time, there are situations where TRADE-OFFS ARE INEVITABLE." I pulled this quote off my friend Stephen T. McCarthys blog. I know it to be authentic because Stephens name is not his real name but his pen name, and the McCarthy name is after this great senator. So, needless to say my friend would never misrepresent Mr. McCarthy.

Today I find Joseph McCarthys quote to be more true than ever. We have removed God from our society, removed him from our schools, our court houses, our society, and most importantly our homes and hearts. When the children of Israel did this in the old testament they found themselves in one situation: SLAVERY. After all it is the bible, that holly word of God that says, "The Borrow is slave to the lender." Well as we speak the United States Government is trillions in debt, and hundreds of trillions in financial liabilities (Social Security, obama care, welfare, exc.). We can't pay for all our IOU's so there are two options: 1)print more money, and die 2) get forclosed on and die. No society has remained free that has inflated its money supply, and I don't believe we will be the first.

A quote I picked up from freedom force international (actually I picked the last one up there as well). Where I disagree with Thomas Paine on the principles of God and his providence; I do agree with him in the quote above. Now he goes on to conclude (and I believe justly so) that the UN doctrine says that the state gives us our rights by law. So if the state wants to take away our rights all it has to do is pass a law. Under the United States constitution our rights are given to us by GOD and are inalienable and can not be transferred to another. The state can not take your rights from you if the constitution is upheld. Sadly, as collectivism spreads these rights will diminish even more until one day people will wake up and wonder, "What happened."

Guess what? This is who will be making decisions on what kind of health care your going to get. Anyone who has done research on the history of medicine knows that people used to die more often than survive surgery. It had to do a lot with sterile technique and such but that is beside the point. An article by Dr. Jane Orient for the "New American" magazine more than proves that our modern health care issues are from socialized medicine in the form of medicare. So now were going to fix the problems caused by socialism with MORE SOCIALISM???? If you want to stop your migraine do keep smashing it against the wall? I mean it hasn't worked before but I just know it will someday. So get ready for doctors who don't take the "Hippocratic oath TOO SERIOUSLY." So don't get sick America.... Socialized euthanasia will soon arrive.

I usually quote the founding fathers or other figures of history. Today I have decided to deviate from that. Thes two quotes are so spot on we would all do well to remember them.

The Fed is the one who provides the credit. The banks are powerless without the fed. So the game is going to stop when? When the fed decides that it's going to end. Blatant admission that the Federal Reserve plays with your futurre like it's a monopoly game. Only in this game they already know who's going to win.

Benjamin Franklin on debt

Dr. Franklin knew what he was talking about. The United States initially set up a 20 charter with a central bank in our first 20 years in existence. Our founders seeing it for the debt it produced let it's charter run out. The Rothschild's in Europe didn't like this, and some say the war of 1812 was really about the United States not renewing the charter on that bank. The second Bank of the United states was another central bank that was abolished by Andrew Jackson. Of course Jacksons stand allowed The United States to be debt free for the first and only time in our nations history.

What people don't understand is that central banking is a debt based system. They only print the money to loan, not the interest. The bible commanded us to not charge usury (interest) in the old testament. The bible also states that the borrower is slave to the lender. Debt is slavery, and our founders understood this all too well. So now our third central bank known as the federal reserve has us Trillions in debt. If you pay it back you retract the money supply and crash the economy. If you keep spending you inflate the money supply and debach our dollar. Or, you try to keep this deck of cards standing by selling the debt to other countries and making a bigger mess down the road.

P.S. It is good to note that an attempt was made on Andrew Jackson's life when he wouldn't renew the bank charter. Could it be God's providence that made that gun back fire?
