"IT IS NOT WHAT A POLITICIAN SAYS THAT MATTERS MOST; IT’S WHAT HE OR SHE DOES THAT YOU NEED TO NOTICE."

"IT IS NOT WHAT A COMMENTATOR SAYS THAT MATTERS MOST; IT’S WHAT HE OR SHE LEAVES UNSAID THAT YOU NEED TO NOTICE."

Stephen T. McCarthy http://xtremelyun-pcandunrepentant.blogspot.com/2009/07/1-rule-of-politics.html

The above quotes are from an ordinary joe (well maybe not so ordinary). A guy who loves our country and hates seeing it pissed down the drain by our current political structure. I usually quote the founding fathers or other figures of history. Today I have decided to deviate from that. Thes two quotes are so spot on we would all do well to remember them.

    Hokey-Smoke, Br'er Marc!
I can't even begin to express how honored I feel to find you quoting ME on your Blog! Placing the words of Stephen T. McCarthy in amongst the words of some of this country's greatest Founding Fathers and Statesmen -- what can I say but...

    ...Uhp! Yer an idiot!

Nah, just kidding you, Buddy. Yer not an idiot; yer a great friend and a true American Patriot. Thanks for adding my po' words to your Honor Roll of quotations. That's quite a surprise and not an insignificant gesture.

  2. Well truth is they are historic in concept. And to be quite honest I have not seen or heard these concepts spoken better. Think, what if the majority of the american people had done what you quoted above for eight years in the last hundred. I think the world would be a much different place. In fact it probably would have saved our country. Too late now.
